Living in Vietnam for almost a year from February 2020 to January 2021 was an adventure and a delight to our eyes. We decided to live in this beautiful southeastern Asian country during the pandemic for several reasons. The first one would be that it was a very safe place to be. Secondly, we had promised ourselves to return and this was a great opportunity to learn about their culture.
Vietnam, the country we fell in love with years earlier was where we learned important life lessons. Among these, one that brought us to our senses and always seemed to impress us was how locals dealt with their own everyday life. As the saying goes, when life gives you lemons, you go and make lemonade and that is exactly what we saw in Vietnam through almost every town and city we lived and passed by.
There is really not much to say, as you will notice the creativity of the Vietnamese to make their everyday transportation also a work horse to make a living and an important tool in many ways. Here, we share some of the many ways people in Vietnam make the best of what for many of them just may be one of their most valuable and important possessions, their motorbikes.
Keep traveling, keep learning!
